About Kallie's Work:

Kallie has dedicated her education and career to addressing the climate crisis through science communication and community engagement. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Colorado before pursuing a Professional Master of Science in Arizona, where she discovered her passion for science communication and engaging with communities around climate action and sustainability.

With a certificate in science communication, she has explored a variety of communication methods like writing, documentary film, and audio, but discovered her strongest enthusiasm lies in data and data visualization. She is particularly passionate about using data-driven storytelling to make climate science more accessible, helping bridge the gap between science and people.

During her master's program, Kallie served as a Climate Communications and Outreach Coordinator with the Flagstaff Sustainability Office, gaining experience in municipal engagement and public outreach. In this role, she strengthened communication between the Sustainability Office and the Flagstaff community, focusing on climate education and advocacy. Beyond her municipal experience, Kallie has worked in university and nonprofit settings, supporting sustainability and climate initiatives. Through her role at Measure Meant, she is eager to continue bridging the gap between science and communities to foster community resilience.
