Meet Cate

Operations Intern

Cate Olrich

About Cate's work:
As reflected in her studies, Cate is passionate about the interconnectedness of environmental and social well-being. As a Sustainable Student Leader at Gonzaga University, she has actively brought the community garden back to life on campus. She has previous experience working as a Coastal Advocate Intern for the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin, a non-profit in her hometown of Marin County, California. These lived experiences and others, such as traveling abroad in Europe, have sparked interest in many areas for Cate. Some of these include public services such as transportation, ethical consumerism, and the virtues of living in community.

"I have come to know that we give life to what we give energy to. We must give our energy to sustainable practices and mission-driven businesses. By doing so, we can create a more just society and a sustainable environment for future generations."
