The FruitGuys
The Need
The FruitGuys is always raising the bar for making an impact as a small business. With a dedication to regenerative agriculture, supporting healthy nutrition in schools, and reducing hunger, the FruitGuys have a lot to work on day-to-day in addition to their core service: providing healthy snack boxes to companies. They needed someone to help with the administration of the B Corp assessment for their recertification.
The Work
Measure Meant guided The FruitGuys through the B Impact Assessment, acting as an accountability partner and providing extra capacity to the team. We refreshed The FruitGuys’ templates, facilitated additional data collection, and prepared their assessment for the Verification process. The FruitGuys was eligible for an additional Impact Business Model with the new Customers section in the most recent Assessment version. Measure Meant organized the documentation that would be needed to verify this new assessment section to speed up the process.
The Impact
The FruitGuys was able to spend more time focusing on creating impact for their stakeholders, rather than navigating the assessment, while continuing their commitment to the B Corp model. They are now gaining more credit for their schools program, one of their impact areas of focus. Check out their directory page here.
